PLI: a paper lamp, seductive as a dress. |
Pli stems from a gesture reminiscent of a seamstress at work with fabric, needle, and thread. A thin perforated sheet of finest Italian paper transforms into an unexpected lampshade, wrapping itself in folds and drapes around the luminous tube that passes through it. |

Pli is the first lamp by the young danish designer Patricia Arvid. She chose to begin with the light source, designing a diffuser whose form would naturally follow from it, aiming to create a gentle, non-invasive light. |
