Tonda is fascinating for its apparently illogical balance |
Tonda suspension lamp is a sophisticated game of balancing between the handmade blown and shaded glass sphere and the metal support that embraces it without closing the lamp, on which it rests but is not attached. |

A luminous sculpture that is never the same |
The diffuser in opaline blown glass is crafted by hand, with transparent shading (shifting from white towards the top to transparent below). It is up to the master glass-blower to capture the exact combination and fusion of white and transparent to achieve the shaded effect. Each lamp is therefore unique, and the shade between the two colours of the glass varies slightly from one lamp to another, thereby lending the product a craft-based quality. |

Available in two sizes and with the metal structure in different colours - orange, titanium, white - Tonda is a sculptural centrepiece created to enter a dialogue with contemporary interiors. |

"Tonda mixes stimuli derived from the Radical Design of the 1960s and 1970s and the tenets of Good Design. The result is an erudite creation but with universal appeal, simultaneously sophisticated and pop." — F. Laviani |
